Golden Turmeric Coffee

A warming and healing blend of coffee with turmeric, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, combined with spices and a hint of sweetness, perfect for a cozy start to the day or a soothing evening treat

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of ground ginger
  • A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter (for a bulletproof version)
  • 2 tablespoons milk or alternative milk (optional, for creaminess)


  • Brew a cup of your favorite coffee.
  • In a saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Heat gently over low heat.
  • Stir in honey or maple syrup and coconut oil or butter if using. Mix until well combined and the oil/butter is fully melted.
  • If you prefer a creamy texture, add milk to the saucepan and warm through, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour the mixture into a blender and blend for 20-30 seconds until frothy (be careful with hot liquids).
  • Serve in a mug, sprinkling a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish.
