Golden Turmeric Coffee

Ingredients
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A pinch of ground ginger
- A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter (for a bulletproof version)
- 2 tablespoons milk or alternative milk (optional, for creaminess)
Instructions
- Brew a cup of your favorite coffee.
- In a saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Heat gently over low heat.
- Stir in honey or maple syrup and coconut oil or butter if using. Mix until well combined and the oil/butter is fully melted.
- If you prefer a creamy texture, add milk to the saucepan and warm through, stirring occasionally.
- Pour the mixture into a blender and blend for 20-30 seconds until frothy (be careful with hot liquids).
- Serve in a mug, sprinkling a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish.
